On June 19, 2023, Anhui Environmental Technology Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as 'Anhui Environment') and Beijing SYS Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as ' SYS' ) held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony in Hefei, Anhui Environment. Attendees included Fang Jianglong, Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of Anhui Environment, Yang Anfeng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager, Cheng Qun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, and heads of relevant functional departments. SYS's Chairman Ge Jing, Senior Partner Chen Jian, Anhui Urban Partner Tang Peiyuan, and Assistant to the Chairman Zhang Yichi attended the signing ceremony.

With the acceleration of China's urbanization process and rapid economic development, the pollution of water environments by urban domestic sewage and industrial wastewater is increasingly severe. Simultaneously, with the improvement of people's living standards, the demand for a better water environment is growing. Against this backdrop, the state pays high attention to the governance and protection of the water ecological environment. From the 'Thirteenth Five-Year Plan' to the 'Fourteenth Five-Year Plan' policies on water environment planning and management have been issued successively. In response to the national policy call, to promote the improvement of water environment quality in Anhui Province, represented by the Chaohu Basin, and achieve green and sustainable development in Anhui Province, Anhui Environment and SYS have signed a strategic cooperation agreement.

According to the agreement, both parties will adhere to the principles of 'complementary advantages, win-win cooperation, and co-creation and sharing.' Anhui Environment, with its profound cooperative relationships and business expansion capabilities within Anhui Province, and SYS, relying on its rich experience in water environment management, superior technological equipment, high sense of social responsibility, and honest business record, will leverage their respective strengths in relevant fields to establish a long-term, stable, and deep strategic partnership.

Yang Anfeng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Anhui Environment, and Ge Jing, Chairman of Kejingyuan, signed the strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of both parties.

To ensure the efficient implementation of strategic cooperation, leaders from both sides held a strategic cooperation seminar after the signing ceremony. At the seminar, Fang Jianglong, Chairman of Anhui Environment, stated that SYS, a company invited by the provincial ecological environment department, is trustworthy. The stable, meticulous work ethic, and hardworking spirit inherent in SYS's team are admirable.

Yang Anfeng, General Manager of Anhui Environment, expressed that SYS, a high-tech enterprise with independent core technology and rich project experience, has achievements and experiences in the governance of the Dianchi Lake basin that are worth learning. He hoped SYS would share these insights with Anhui Environment unreservedly, jointly offering strategies for the management of Chaohu Lake. Anhui Environment will join hands with SYS to contribute to the construction of beautiful water environments within Anhui Province.

Ge Jing, Chairman of SYS, expressed his gratitude for the support provided by the senior leadership of Anhui Environment and promised to go all out to contribute to the governance and protection of water environments in Anhui Province, providing solid support and services for the Anhui Environmental Technology Group.

Finally, both parties took a group photo for commemoration and outlined specific plans for the next steps. They agreed to focus on the nutrient-rich control of water bodies in the Chaohu basin and rhythmically carry out various water environment management tasks around the Chaohu governance. These tasks include the upgrading and transformation of wastewater treatment plants, the control of foul-smelling water bodies, the management of rural sewage, and the treatment of river sections.
